Successful 2008 Under the Belt

This years Florida Marlins were definitely one of the big surprises of the 2008 MLB season. Having a team with the lowest pay role in baseball that finishes the season over .500, now thats what I call success. Other than finishing with a winning record of 84-77, the Florida Marlins have shown a lot more. This team has shown that it has one of the most profound young clubs out their with players like Hanley Ramirez, Dan Uggla, Mike Jacobs, and many more. Additionally, this team has shown that they can rack up some runs with their bats, coming in 3rd place for the most home-runs this season, with 208. The young pitchers also showcased their talent this year. The very talented Scott Olsen and Josh Johnson showed why they were some of the top prospected pitchers just a few years ago. These teams better watch out because the Florida Marlins are not a team your going to want to mess with next year!
