CELTIC PLUMMET!

The Boston Celtics who were once on track to break the single season win record have played horrendous over their last couple of games. 30-9 may seem like a great record to many team but for the Celtics its been a despicable 10 games. Their record is 3-7 with losses to some of the worst teams in the league. The defense has truly been non existent and their ability to score has diminished. Hopefully they can get back on track, many people see the Celtics as this years NBA FINAL winner once again. If they continue this play, it won't be so likely.

WHO WILL BE IN THE SUPERBOWL?

The AFC championship and NFC championship games have been set. The Cardinals are set to take on the Eagles, while the Steelers will be at home against the Ravens. Now the question is set, who will finish the season superbowl champs? My hope was that my beloved Dolphins would still be in the running but that didn't turn out so good. Due to that reason, I have turned to the team who took my team out of the playoffs, the Ravens. A fast, hard hitting defense, mixed with a mistake free offense makes the Ravens my pick for the superbowl winner. It should be extremely exciting though, the four teams remaining all have outstanding defenses along with big play potential. Can't wait to see what next week has in store!

NATIONAL CHAMPS CROWNED

The 2009 National Championship game was crowned this Thursday, and the Florida Gators came out victorious for the second time in three years. It was a great season filled with demoralizing upsets, amaizng plays, and top of the line leadership . The Gators who finished the season with a 13-1 record, showed a tremendous amount of heart to finish off the season. Tim Tebows fast offense along with a high powered defense showed why the GATORS deserved to play in the bowl of all of bowls. Many teams like TEXAS and USC fell short in the extremely confusing college football setup. The next step for many of the stars in college football is to decide what the future has in store for them, another college season or trying their luck in the draft. It was a great season, now it time for teams to rebuild and prepare for next year!

AFC EAST

As I’ve mentioned in earlier blogs the AFC EAST has become a true battleground. Going into week 15 the JETS, DOLPHINS, and PATRIOTS are all tied at 9-5 at the top of their division. It is without question that the Dolphins have the easiest roads ahead, but for all the teams its pretty much win out of go home. This week the PATRIOTS take of the CARDINALS who have 3 starters on this years NFC PRO BOWL TEAM. The Cardinals are a team that started the season hot but have been a tad bit cold as of late. The JETS this week take on the SEAHAWKS. The best word for the SEAHAWKS would have to be inconsistent, they have good games, ok games, and horrendous games, it just depends on what players choose to step up each week. The DOLPHINS challenge the CHIEFS, who have been on fire lately; still their record puts them close to one of the worst teams in the league. After this week maybe the playoff picture will be a little more clear, but my view is that this fight is going to go all seven rounds.

LAKERS VS. HEAT

Big game this Friday for the MIAMI HEAT when they take on the LA LAKERS. The Lakers are one of the top teams in the league with a 21-3 record and winners of their last four games. The HEAT are at .500 and have lost three games in a row. This game against in my mind the top team in the league could really help the HEATS confidence if they could come out victorious. Dwayne Wade will have to have a big game on both sides of the ball, covering last years MVP, Kobe Bryant could be a challenge but with Wade’s MVP like start this season it could be a great show. If your not doing anything this Friday night tune in to ESPN at 7 for this game!
